Bridget holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in Elementary Education from DePaul University, with a Language Arts Endorsement, K-9. After graduating from DePaul, in 1996, she received her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with a Concentration in Reading at The University of Illinois. She holds a Type 10 License as a Reading Specialist. Bridget attended National Louis, and she was trained in Reading Recovery. Bridget has taught students from grades 1-8 as a Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3; classroom teacher and Reading Interventionist. As a Tier 3 Interventionist, Bridget went on to receive her ELL Endorsement from Benedictine University, grades K-12. After years of teaching, Bridget believes that an amazing environment for students to learn and thrive in is best made from a responsive teacher that also gives their best to learn and thrive from the students in the classroom.
